A LITTLE CLARITY, BEFORE YOU CREATE
Good questions.
Straight answers.
From your first screen recording to that final export. Here’s what to know about FrameSaid.
Getting started
What is FrameSaid?
FrameSaid is an iPhone screen recorder with facecam reactions, captions, and editing tools. Record or import a video, add your reaction afterward, then trim, caption, mix audio, and share the finished clip. It works well for gameplay, tutorials, app demos, and reviews.
Which devices does FrameSaid support?
FrameSaid is designed for iPhone and requires iOS 26.1 or later. The current app interface is in English. Check the App Store listing for the latest compatibility information.
Is FrameSaid free to use?
FrameSaid is free to download. Free recording includes clips up to three minutes at 720p with a small FrameSaid watermark. Pro unlocks longer recordings, higher-quality capture, and the creative editing tools.
Can I use a video I already recorded?
Yes. You can import videos from Photos or Files into FrameSaid. You can then use the editing and reaction tools available with your plan.
Recording & reactions
How do facecam reactions work?
First record your screen or import a video. Then watch it back while recording a synchronized reaction with your front camera. Position the reaction over the video where it fits the action. Facecam reactions are a Pro feature.
Can I record my screen with sound and my voice?
FrameSaid supports app sound and microphone commentary together. Enable microphone capture in Apple’s screen-broadcast controls when you want to include your voice. Some apps restrict capture of their audio or video, so make a short test recording first.
Why is an app’s video or sound missing?
Some apps block or limit screen recording of their content. This can lead to missing video or audio even when your recording setup is correct. FrameSaid cannot override those restrictions. Check your microphone setting and try a short recording in another app to narrow down the cause.
Does FrameSaid record facecam at the same time as the screen?
The FrameSaid workflow adds the facecam reaction after the screen recording. You watch your recorded clip while capturing a synchronized front-camera reaction, then position it over the video.
What can I edit before sharing?
The complete Pro editor includes visual timeline trimming, timed editable captions, facecam reactions, and original/reaction audio balancing. You can export the result to Photos or share through iOS.
Captions, files & Pro
Can I change the automatically generated captions?
Yes. FrameSaid generates timed captions that you can edit. Review names, technical terms, and any words recorded with background noise before exporting. Captions are included in Pro.
Can I search recordings by what I said?
Yes. Generate narration transcripts on your iPhone, then search your library using words from the recording. This helps you find a matching clip without reviewing your entire library. Transcripts and narration search are Pro features.
Where are my recordings and transcripts processed?
Recordings stay on your device, and narration transcript processing happens on-device. This describes how your video and transcript content is handled. For details about other data practices, read the app’s privacy policy and the App Store privacy information.
Privacy policyWhat does FrameSaid Pro include?
Pro includes unlimited recording length, 1080p high-bitrate capture, no FrameSaid watermark, facecam reactions, transcripts, captions, audio mixing, and the complete editor. Available storage and device conditions can still limit a recording.
Do I need to pay to access a recording I already made?
No. You do not need to pay to access or share a recording you already made. Pro is used to unlock additional recording and editing capabilities.
Where can I see Pro pricing and manage a subscription?
The app shows current pricing, subscription terms, and trial eligibility before purchase. For a subscription purchased through Apple, use your Apple account’s Subscriptions settings to review or manage it.
