THE QUICK ANSWER
In FrameSaid, record your screen or import a video first. Then play it back while recording a synchronized front-camera reaction. Position your face over the clip, balance the audio, and export. Facecam reactions require FrameSaid Pro.
Why record the reaction afterward?
Screen capture and facecam are separate steps in FrameSaid. You capture the moment first, then react while watching the clip. This gives you a chance to focus on the action during capture and on your explanation or expression during the reaction.
It is useful for a gameplay breakdown, a review, or a tutorial that needs a human introduction. It also works with a video you already have in Photos or Files.
Build your reaction in four steps
Choose the source clip.
Record your iPhone screen or import a video. Pick a clip with a clear moment or a specific point to explain.
Record your front-camera reaction.
Use FrameSaid’s reaction tool to capture yourself while the source video plays. Speak to the moment on screen so the reaction adds context.
Place the facecam thoughtfully.
Position your face where viewers can see your expression and the action. Check the entire clip for anything the overlay might cover.
Finish and share.
Trim the clip, balance source and reaction audio, and add editable captions if useful. Export to Photos or share through iOS.
Pick the corner that keeps the story visible
There is no single best facecam position. A game might put its score in one corner and controls in another. An app tutorial might open a menu exactly where your face sits.
Watch the full recording after placing your reaction. Keep important buttons, text, and visual changes visible. Your face should help the viewer connect with the video while leaving room for the thing you are discussing.
Give the reaction a job
Tell viewers something the screen alone does not explain: what you expected, why a choice mattered, or what surprised you. Leave space for the original moment to be heard when that sound matters.
For a tutorial, a calm explanation may work better than a running monologue. For a reaction, the pause before your response might be part of what makes the clip feel natural.
Do one final watch-through
Check that your face does not hide the point of the clip, your voice is easy to follow, and the opening gets to the interesting part. Review generated captions for mistakes before exporting.
Use footage you own or have permission to use. FrameSaid’s import and recording tools do not grant rights to someone else’s material.
